Disclosures

Privacy, Terms, and Dependency Disclosures

This single page gives you one public place to reference the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and third-party dependencies for Stenographer.AI.

Public links

Use this single page when you need disclosure URLs.

Some app directories, marketplaces, and onboarding forms ask for privacy, legal, and dependency disclosure links separately. This page consolidates those references while still linking to the full license text where needed.

Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy URL: /disclosures#privacy-policy

This is a concise product-facing privacy disclosure for Stenographer.AI. If you later publish a longer legal policy, this section can remain the marketplace-facing summary while linking to the longer version.

What Stenographer.AI collects

Account identity data from GitHub login, repository and pull request metadata needed to generate summaries, AI provider configuration that you explicitly save, and product usage records needed for billing, security, and support.

What Stenographer.AI does not collect by default

We do not present the product as a general-purpose telemetry platform, and we do not collect more repository access than is required for pull request summarization and related workflow automation.

How data is used

Data is used to authenticate users, receive pull request events, generate changelog-style summaries, support billing flows, and keep the service secure and reliable.

Data handling expectations

Customers should treat pull request content as potentially sensitive and only install the GitHub App on repositories they intend Stenographer.AI to process.

Terms of Service

Terms of Service URL: /disclosures#terms-of-service

Stenographer.AI's binding legal terms are published on the License page. This section exists so you have a single disclosures link, while still pointing readers to the full terms text.

  • Use of Stenographer.AI is governed by the platform license terms published by Rise-n-Shine Software.
  • Access is limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and intended for internal business use during an active subscription term.
  • Users may not resell the service, sublicense it, reverse engineer it, or bypass technical or contractual controls.
  • For the full legal text, the canonical in-product terms page remains the License page.

Third-Party Dependencies

Third-Party Dependencies URL: /disclosures#third-party-dependencies
